How to Make Payments on OldNational

ACH Origination
ACH (Automated Clearing House) payments allow you to transfer funds electronically between accounts at different financial institutions. OldNational supports multiple ACH payment types:

How to Create an ACH Payment
- Log in to OldNational via Secure Browser or Token.
- Navigate to the Payments or ACH section.
- Select the account to debit.
- Choose an existing template or create a new payment.
- Enter or select the payee information (routing number, account number, name).
- Specify the amount and effective date.
- Select the appropriate SEC code for the payment type.
- Add any required addenda records (for CCD+ payments).
- Review the payment details for accuracy.
- Submit for approval (if dual-control is enabled).
- An authorized approver must approve the file before it is sent.
Wire Transfers
OldNational supports both domestic and US Dollar international wire transfers. Wire transfers provide same-day settlement and are ideal for high-value or time-sensitive payments.
How to Initiate a Wire Transfer
- Log in to OldNational.
- Navigate to the Wire section under Payments.
- Select Domestic Wire or International Wire (USD).
- Choose the funding account.
- Enter the beneficiary information: name, address, account number.
- Enter the receiving bank information: bank name, routing number (domestic) or SWIFT/BIC code (international).
- Specify the wire amount and any bank-to-bank instructions.
- Add optional memo or reference information for tracking.
- Review all details carefully — wire transfers are difficult to reverse.
- Submit for approval if dual-control is required.
Wire Transfer Cut-Off Times
Wire transfer cut-off times vary by institution. Typically, domestic wires must be submitted by early afternoon Eastern Time for same-day processing. International USD wires may have an earlier cut-off. Confirm specific times with your Treasury Management support.
Account-to-Account Transfers
You can transfer funds between your own accounts at the bank in real-time. This is useful for moving money between operating accounts, savings, or loan accounts.
How to Transfer Between Accounts
- Log in to OldNational.
- Navigate to Transfers or Account Transfer.
- Select the source account (account to debit).
- Select the destination account (account to credit).
- Enter the transfer amount.
- Choose whether to make it one-time or recurring.
- Submit the transfer.
Account-to-account transfers typically process immediately during business hours.
Tax Payments
OldNational allows you to send electronic tax payments to government entities, including federal and state tax authorities. This replaces paper coupon-based payments.
How to Make a Tax Payment
- Log in to OldNational.
- Navigate to Tax Payments.
- Select the tax type (federal, state, local).
- Enter the tax form number and tax period.
- Specify the payment amount.
- Enter any required identification numbers (EIN, state tax ID).
- Set the settlement date.
- Review and submit.
Bill Pay
Business Bill Pay allows you to manage, pay, and receive bills from a single secure interface. Key features include:
- Pay vendors and suppliers electronically
- Schedule one-time or recurring payments

- Eliminate paper check printing and mailing
- Access through OldNational — no separate login required
Payee Management
OldNational includes a comprehensive payee management system:
- Create Payees: Add individual payees with full banking details (routing number, account number, address).
- Import Payees: Upload an entire list of payees at once using the import maintenance feature.

- Organize by Service: Payees can be associated with specific services and accounts.
